Our face wands combine light therapy with radio waves to treat an even wider range of skin issues when compared with our regular LED face masks.
Being handheld, portable, and rechargeable allows these devices to be easily used regardless of whether you're at home or on holiday. The best thing about them... the fact that they're backed by actual science.
What Can LED & RF Face Wands Be Used For?
- Reducing sebum production
- Reducing inflammation
- Promoting collagen production
- Killing bacteria
- Clearing acne breakouts
- Lightening pigmentation issues
as well as
- tightening your skin
- smoothing wrinkles
- slimming your face
Are These Claims Scientifically Proven?
Yes, a number of studies have been done on light therapy and it is a commonly used dermatologist treatment.
Furthermore, studies have also been done in regards to using RF frequency on the face and body. Whilst we haven't had the time yet to collate the studies and write an articles, you can find a good referenced overview on the Healthline website.
Which LED Colour Should I Use?
Generally speaking, the red and blue wavelengths have been shown to be most beneficial, with the green wavelength being beneficial in some instances. However, it's important to note that different light wavelengths achieve different things. The complete list of possible treatments and the corresponding LED colour wavelengths is too long to list, but the important ones are listed below:
Red light (630nm): Increases cell activity, promotes collagen formation, treats acne and inflammation.
Green light (520nm): Lightens hyperpigmentation, treats red vessels on the surface of skin, aids in wound healing.
Blue light (470nm): Antibacterial, treats acne and inflammation, aids wound healing, ameliorates pain.
Yellow light (590nm): Soothing, improves blood circulation.
Purple light: There is not much literature on the benefits of purple light, but the theory is that it combines both red and blue light to treat inflammation and acne. We recommend sticking with either red, or blue, and not trying purple as there is far more evidence to the benefits of those colours on their own.

Instructions For Use:
- Ensure the unit is fully charged before use.
- Adjust settings - you have control over colour, colour mode, as well as the ability to turn on/off.
- Once the desired setting has been achieved, move the wand head over you skin slowly. The treatment should last up to 10 minutes. It is important that light does not enter your eyes. You may find it easier to use the device in front of a mirror.
- After your treatment has ended, the device should be cleaned and then returned to charge.
Device works great however there is only manufacturer’s guide included. It doesn’t say anything about clean up of the device. Too early to tell about how effective it is but you could feel your facial muscles twitch when using this.
Product works well, quick delivery, thank you.
