Product Details
The DRS 6 in 1 ICE kit provides a range of micro-needling tools to treat a wide range of skin conditions. Each kit contains two derma rollers, one derma stamp, one silicone brush, one built-in basin for easy disinfection, as well as an ice roller.
The ice roller is what differentiates this set from the regular 6 in 1 kit. The ice roller replaces the 1200 needle derma roller.
What Is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a form of collagen induction therapy, through which your skin is punctured with many tiny needles so as to encourage a healing response from your body. It’s been proven to work with a wide variety of skin issues, from fine lines and wrinkles all the way to deep stretch marks and scars.
Product Specifications:
Colours Available: White set with a grey box or grey set with a grey box
Needle Type: Titanium
What's Included?
ICE Roller: Ice rolling is a type of cold therapy for your skin, much akin to the old fashioned method of using actual ice. The freezing cold temperature of the ice roller against your skin constricts blood vessels and reduces blood flow. You should immediately see a reduction in puffiness, redness, much in the same way an ice pack can help to reduce swelling and bruising.
The ICE roller can be used at room temperature, but for best results it is best to store it in the fridge or freezer until you are ready to use it.
720 Needle Derma Roller (1.00mm): The 720 needle unit comes with a needle length of 1mm, and this makes it a good choice to treat light acne scarring and other skin problems on your face. It shouldn't be used around the eyes though, as the skin there is very thin.
300 Needle Derma Roller (0.50mm): The 300 needle unit is best suited for treating small areas of skin. The 0.5mm needle length means that it is suitable for use around the eyes (to treat 'crows feet' for example). The narrow width also allows it to be used in tricky to reach areas, such as between the nose and lips.
12 Needle Derma Stamp (2.00mm): The 12 needle derma stamp has a different design to the usual derma roller as it uses a stamping motion to pierce the skin, as opposed to a rolling motion. This unit is best used to spot treat damaged skin and is best for deep acne scars and deep stretch marks. It should be cautiously used on the face though, as the needle length is quite long (and the skin on the face is relatively thin).
Silicone Brush: The soft silicone brush is an effective yet gentle tool for cleaning your skin prior to treatment.
Disinfectant Basin: The basin is built into the case and allows for the easy disinfection of your derma rollers. The basin itself comes with a lid to help prevent spillage during transport (but we do recommend you that you empty the basin prior to transporting or storing the box).
What Skin Conditions Can Microneedling Treat?
It has been shown (through both clinical and testimonial evidence) to have efficacy in treating a number of different skin issues. It can be used to treat:
- Wrinkles & fine lines
- Skin tightness
- Scarring
- Burns
- Stretch marks
- Hyperpigmentation
- Hypopigmentation
- Sagging skin (to a small extent)
- Sun damage
- Hair loss
This list is not exhaustive.
Usage Instructions:
As this kit contains both derma rollers and derma stamps, the instructions for use differ. Instructions are included with the kit.
We recommend that you apply a skin rejuvenation cream before and/or after the treatment. Hyaluronic acid is a safe and effective option. We recommend you do not use any retinoid products with microneedling as they can be harsh on the skin.
Change of Mind Returns & Warranty:
If upon receiving your order you are undecided about using it, please do not open the packaging. We can accept returns for products which remain sealed, but, for health reasons anything opened from its sealed packaging cannot be returned (as we cannot resell it). Upon return we will refund your order in full. This applies to change of mind returns.
The device also comes with a one year warranty starting from the date of delivery. In case of a warranty claim we will replace or refund at our expense. Please note that this is partly a consumable product - the needles become blunt through use - and the warranty does not cover this aspect. The warranty covers defects (e.g. the handle breaks whilst in use) and damage in transit (e.g. the product arrives broken).
